Relationships

Relationships: How do you feel about you?

But you must love yourself first

A lot of times life is about how we RELATE to something or someone, they become our relationships. Before we can look at our relationships to anyone and anything.  We have to look at how we feel about ourselves.

It all starts with you.  If you don’t like yourself.  YOU WILL NEVER RESPECT AND LOVE YOURSELF and if you can’t do this for yourself, then how can you do it for others.

I have written blogs that helped to address this by giving helpful strategies. Check them out. Here are a few:

Mirror Exercise

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Most people don’t like themselves and can’t even look at themselves in the mirror. So, if we don’t even like ourselves, how can we like, let alone love anyone else.  A great exercise to do is to start to see what you think of yourself when you look at yourself in the mirror. Spend 5-10 minutes every day looking in the mirror and loving you. You simply say ‘I love you and state your name’. It may feel silly at the beginning but it is a very powerful exercise.

In addition to this, you can find the key to happiness in the, The Wellness Approach: Lasting Lifestyle Change Made Simple.

Here is the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wellness-Approach-Lasting-Lifestyle-Change-ebook/dp/B01H6YG35I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1466234633&sr=8-2&keywords=The+Wellness+Approach)

Using the strategies, you learn to start appreciating and loving yourself.  When you start doing this, it creates an understanding, that if you don’t like yourself, you will never love yourself and you will never love another person. But when you do start loving yourself, you become a Love magnet.  You can create loving relationships. Your outlook, judgments, everything changes. You can decide what type of relationships you would like to experience.

Please take the time to look at the previous blogs from last year.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
