Attitude of Gratitude

After that I started to say to thank you even for the little things I received. For the air I breathe in every moment to any help from family and friends. I found the more I become grateful, the more joy I received. I smiled more. As I smiled more, I was able to give more.

When I was younger it was very hard to be thankful because I didn’t know how.  It is hard to be thankful when all you see, feel and hear that I don’t have, this, I don’t have that. I felt there is nothing to be thankful for.

It was my husband  who pointed out that I didn’t even say thank you at the supermarket checkout when I finished paying for my groceries.  I didn’t even realise that I wasn’t even saying thank you.
