Hi all

I have met some amazing individuals who are Beacons of Light, they bring light where it is dark. Their compassion to serve humanity inspired me.

I met some young ladies who created a project on self-Love as part of their year 10 assessment at school. They know how important Love is and it all starts with you loving yourself. I do believe Love is the answer and it always start with loving ourselves. I interviewed Fitra Rahima, Andrea Agnetta Gunadi and Najla Nurhaiqa and here are the details on what their projects are all about.

Fitra explained  “Love Myself, Love Yourself is a project where its goal is to make a dance video that promotes the issue of the lack of self-love. The dance should also encourage its audience to accept who they are and be grateful with they are given with. This project is heavily inspired by my love for dancing as well as my concern to people who lack self-love.  It is very sad to see that a number of people have lost their lives due to the lack of appreciation towards themselves. Thus, I believe that fact needs to be changed.”

“I am Andrea Agnetta Gunadi (16), who is currently studying at Global Jaya School. A Campaign about Self-Love! is a project I have created, in the hope of opening people’s minds about accepting themselves. The campaign teaches the audience about the general knowledge of what it means to have self-love, low self-esteem, and how to accept yourself. The campaign includes informational posters, an interactive board – which lets the audience write down some things they like about themselves and lastly, a showcase of photographs that involve teenagers who accept one another regardless of their differences. I truly hope that this project is able to reach out to everyone who struggles to find self-love within themselves, as an eye-opener for the benefit of themselves and the social community.”

Najla explained: Self-love starts with taking care of yourself.  She wrote a book with instructions for skin care. Her point being, if you look good on the outside, then you feel good on the inside.

Here is the interview, enjoy…
