An effective routine can help reduce stress, which can lead to better mental health, more time to relax and less anxiety.
With daily practice the physical work will become second nature and the mind will gain the ability to focus, trust, and let go. The repetition of a single routine will also bring changes to the body’s strength and flexibility. The trick is to work with no expectations of what you may achieve, but just with consistency.
I have a daily routine of yoga (breathwork, movement, meditation), eat nutritious foods and to walk outside everyday. This really has helped me be healthy in my mind and body. It has allowed me to be more mindful and more present.
