How are Essential Oils used?

The way the oils are made is important, as essential oils obtained through chemical processes are not considered true essential oils.

Essential oils are obtained through distillation (via steam and/or steam) mechanical methods, such as cold pressing.

Once the aromatic chemicals have been extracted, they are combined with a carrier oil to create a product that’s ready for use. Essential oils can be applied to the skin with massage oils, bath and skin care . Massaging the area where the oil is to be applied can boost circulation and increase absorption.

Essential oils can be inhaled. Inhalation: the oils evaporate into the air using a diffuser container, spray, or oil droplets, or breathed in, for example, in a steam bath.

A few drops of essential oils mixed with water can be added to a diffuser providing a natural scent.
