Join Me At Wellnergy Festival For Deep Rest at Wellnergy Festival on 13th June

Deep Rest is something many of us are craving, yet it often feels impossible to find. Have you ever noticed that your body feels exhausted, but your mind keeps racing? You finally sit down to relax, but your thoughts continue replaying conversations, planning tomorrow, or worrying about things you cannot control.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. That’s exactly why I’m excited to be teaching a special Deep Rest session at Wellnergy Festival on Saturday, 13th June.

What Is Deep Rest?

Many people believe rest simply means sleeping more. While sleep is important, Deep Rest goes beyond sleep. Deep Rest is a state where your body, mind, and nervous system are given permission to let go of stress and tension.

When we’re constantly busy, our nervous system can become stuck in a state of alertness. Even when we try to relax, our minds remain active. This is why many people feel tired but wired.

Deep Rest practices help create the conditions for relaxation to happen naturally. Instead of forcing your thoughts to stop, you learn how to support your body in a way that encourages calmness, ease, and recovery.

During my session at Wellnergy Festival, you’ll experience simple yogic techniques that can help:

  • Reduce feelings of stress and overwhelm
  • Release physical tension
  • Support better sleep and recovery
  • Improve focus and mental clarity
  • Help you reconnect with yourself

The beauty of Deep Rest is that it doesn’t require experience, flexibility, or perfection. All you need to do is show up exactly as you are.

Who Is This Deep Rest Session For?

This Deep Rest session is perfect for anyone who feels like they’re constantly on the go. Perhaps you’re juggling work, family responsibilities, deadlines, or simply the demands of everyday life.

Maybe you’ve noticed that even when you have time to relax, your mind keeps working. Or perhaps you’re waking up feeling tired, struggling to switch off at night, or finding it difficult to recharge fully.

If you’re craving a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself, this session is for you.

Deep Rest isn’t about escaping life. It’s about creating space to restore your energy so you can return to life feeling calmer, clearer, and more present.

Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have years of experience, you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are.

Deep Rest Without Having To Force Your Mind To Switch Off

In this gentle session, you’ll experience simple yogic practices designed to help your body and mind naturally move toward a state of deep rest.

This isn’t about forcing yourself to meditate.

It’s not about trying to stop your thoughts.

And it’s certainly not about doing yoga poses perfectly.

Instead, you’ll discover how to create the conditions for rest so that your body can begin to let go of tension and your mind can soften naturally.

Why Rest Matters More Than Ever

Many people think they need more energy. What they often need is deeper recovery.

When we don’t allow ourselves to rest, stress can accumulate in ways we don’t always notice. We may become irritable, overwhelmed, unfocused, or struggle to sleep even when we’re tired.

Rest isn’t a luxury. It’s a biological necessity.

When we learn how to access deeper states of relaxation, we often notice improvements in our focus, resilience, sleep, mood, and overall wellbeing.
