The meaning of Gratitude:

The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness, gratefulness, thankfulness, thanks, appreciation, indebtedness.

When I was younger it was very hard to be thankful because I didn’t know how.  It is hard to be thankful when all you see, feel and hear that I don’t have, this, I don’t have that. I felt there is nothing to be thankful for.

“Actually I did have so much to be thankful for, I just didn’t know it.

It was my husband  who pointed out that I didn’t even say thank you at the supermarket checkout when I finished paying for my groceries.  I didn’t even realise that I wasn’t even saying thank you. After that I started to say to thank you even for the little things I received. For the air I breathe in every moment to any help from family and friends.  I found the more I become grateful, the more joy I received.  I smiled more.  As I smiled more, I was able to give more.

Why not for the next 30 days found one new thing to be grateful for.  Start your list with one and by the end of the month you will found that you have at least 30 things to be grateful. Here are a few things you can put on your Attitude of Gratitude list:
